How to plate this like a chef?
Escrito por René Hjorth on agosto 18, 2024 en 16:54Chopped beef with spiced butter, french fries, peas, mayo (for fries), pickled cucumbers. Everything made from scratch of the best ingredients – but the presentation ruined it 🙁

Generally a before and after picture deck could also be quite valuable?

Hello Rene I would suggest presenting the dish on a large, matte white rectangular plate. Position the beef slightly off-center. Let the spice butter melt gently over the top, creating a glossy finish that will catch the eye. Next, arrange a small, elegant stack of golden French fries leaning casually against the beef, adding both height and visual intrigue to the plate. For the pickled cucumbers, fan them out in a semi – circle creating a refreshing contrast to the richness of the beef. Scatter a few vibrant green peas around the plate, like tiny jewels, or for a modern twist, consider adding a smooth smear of pea puree on one side of the plate. To finish, a delicate drizzle of balsamic reduction or just around the beef will add depth and elegance. Finally, a sprig of fresh thyme or rosemary on top, along with single edible flower or a few microgreens will elevate the dish making it a true culinary masterpiece. Oh and for the mayonnaise, either a smear under the beef, or artistic dots around the plate. Goodluck! Hope it helps and appreciate to see your creation.
