      The Best Romanian Cabbage Rolls

      This recipe for Romanian cabbage rolls is tried and true. The big difference between Romanian cabbage rolls and others are that we make them with sour cabbageFlavorful tender sour cabbage leaves are stuffed with ground pork, carrots , onion , paprika, parsley, dill, rice, thyme, salt , pepper, tomato juice and a bit of smoked bacon in between to make this incredible traditional recipe. We serve it with sour cream and polenta or bread.

        😋Now I’m drooling, Debora! Well, if we’re talking about a dish wrapped in leaves and filled with a savory mixture, the closest Argentine equivalent would probably be “niños envueltos”. It’s a traditional dish from the north of Argentina, where they use grape leaves to wrap a filling of rice, meat, and spices.
