I recently recreated my favourite take-away pizza, a chicken and mushroom pizza. Unfortunately, over the years the quality of the fast food version has declined. They’re using fewer toppings, the base tastes bland and the pizza is dry. So making it at home gives me the opportunity to make it the way I remember it. It contains chicken, mushrooms, tomato, onion, tomato paste, burger sauce (the secret ingredient) and mozzarella cheese.

Great idea, Mandie! There’s nothing like recreating our favorite dishes at home to bring back that authentic flavor we love. I really like the combination of ingredients you used, especially the burger sauce as the secret touch. 😉
