Tomato tartare
Instead of using meat, I created this dish with tomato. I light dish packed with flavor. A ideal starter on a Valentine’s dinner. 😀

Eclair with small fruit. And well not in eclair form but a “puff” in apple form with apple filling

Anke, what beautiful creativity! I love how you gave a unique twist to the classic éclair by transforming it into a puff shaped like an apple. It looks absolutely adorable, and that apple filling must be delicious as well. It’s such an original and delicate touch. Thank you for joining the challenge!

Grilled and filled avocado 🥑. A idea from the course of Dani Garcia – Mediterranean cuisine.
(Filling with feta, paprika, shallot… didn’t use coriander pesto but normal basil pesto, not everyone one likes coriander, probably will use some salmon or serranoham as well in the filling next time)

What a great idea inspired by Chef Dani GarcÃa’s course, combining Mediterranean flavors. The vibrant colors of the ingredients really stand out on the plate, and the presentation is very appealing.
It definitely looks like a dish that invites you to try it,so fresh and delicious, perfect for those summer days. I think it’s an…

Amazing, Chef Anke! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
Coriander is one of the most beautiful flavors in the world of herbs but I can understand why so many people just don’t like it. It’s pretty invasive… - View more comments

Nothing goes these weeks as planned. Wednesday we had DANA and our house was flooded. Luckily we could manage and nothing was damaged.
Anyway, now a few days after, time to treat ourselves with a carpaccio of tuna. Off course too late for the challenge but it was just my own challenge 🙂.

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had such difficult weeks.
Despite everything, you took the time to treat us to this beautiful creation. That tuna carpaccio looks so fresh and detailed, with delicious ingredients. Even though it didn’t make it in time for the challenge, it’s definitely worthy of applause. 👏🏻
Thank you for sharing, and I truly hope…

Lovely, Anke. I wonder if the tuille branch would enhance the 3D aspect if it were in a vertical position. What do you think?

#HalloweenChallenge
The Halloween party has been cancelled because of solidarity for the victims of the DANA storm that caused casualties and a lot of damage in a big part of Spain.
There are 3 days of national mourning starting from today .
Luckily we are safe and sound.
Made some Witch cupcakes 🧹🧙 with chocolate and…

Some nice decoration with flavor!
My first attempt and really very satisfied. The black color is from the squid ink so ideal for fish dishes.
Original from Cristian Solana Rodriguez. I will have to make some more and combine it for the Halloween challenge with something orange 🎃😀

My first attempt for Chili pan mee, course South Asian noodles. I didn’t make the chili-garlic paste myself but maybe I will in the future.
I found almost the exact recipe on… https://www.marionskitchen.com/chilli-pan-mee/

I have a small window to get it done right before the challenge is over so I have to wait on my dough until at least 4am. For me Saturday morning= Pizza morning. Maybe I’ll put an egg on it! 😋

Hi Anke.
Thank you for sharing your “Zorongollo” salad. I really like your presentation; it’s modern and minimalist. I can see the ingredients layered beautifully, giving it an elegant and tidy look. The colors are vibrant, with the red tones of the bell pepper and tomato standing out, along with the creamy hue of the tuna. Additionally,…
