Posted by MAOR GABAY on March 14, 2024 at 08:47Hi, if I don’t have silver gelatin and I have gelatin powder – what is the conversion ratio?

Hi @maor-gabay
For each sheet of gelatin you must multiply by 1.5
Do you mean that if the recipe calls for 4 sheets of gelatin you must multiply 4×1.5=6
Then you will need 6 grams of gelatin powder.
If you want to give more consistency or firmness to your dessert, you can multiply by 2, it would look like this:
4×2 = 8. You would need 8 grams of gelatin powder for a firmer consistency.
We hope this information is useful.Greetings.
