Neutralize the acidity in the sauce
Hey chef! I’m a big pizza fan. How can you tone down the acidity in the sauce? Is there a trick for that? Thanks!

Hi Jen
To lower the acidity in a tomato sauce, you can just toss in a pinch of sugar. That’ll help balance out the acidity in your sauce.
Have a great day!
Hi Jennifer
You can use a pinch of sugar or baking soda and that will help subtract the acidity in the tomato sauce.
Greetings.
