Cannot Download Recipe Book on Android
Posted by Samreen Murtaza on September 29, 2024 at 17:04Dear Team, I am using the scoolinary App on my Onplus Android phone. Within the course when I click on recipe book, it briefly shows a ‘Downloading’ toast message and then nothing happens. I can’t seem to download any recipe book and inside videos there are no exact materials specified. Can someone from scoolinary urgently help fix this as it’s a sort of deal breaker for me

Could you please let us know if you have a PDF reader installed on your phone? This is essential for downloading and viewing the recipe books.
Tell me, which recipe book/course are you trying to download?
Could you also send us a screenshot of the message that appears when you try to download it through this conversation thread? That way, we can forward it to the responsible team for review.

Hi Samreen.
The team in charge has asked me to consult with you: Which version or operating system of Android are you using? They mentioned that, in some cases, the recipe books may download automatically to your phone, and this might be what’s happening. They recommend checking your downloads, as they might be stored there. Could you please let me know if you have a PDF reader installed on your phone?
In order to view the recipe books, you’ll need a PDF reader.

Hi Susan,
Yes I have Abode Pdf reader installed on my phone. It’s a OnePlus 6T with OxygenOS 9.0. Notifications are also set to allowed, but somehow the completion of download does not trigger the pdf reader or display a notification.
I was however able to find the pdf files being downloaded in my download folder using a different file manager to search for it. So I have gotten the recipe book for now. A fix for this issue might help other users.
