In the Essential Cakes course, you can find a yogurt and butter cake recipe that I’m sure you’ll enjoy:

And in the Creative Fondant Cakes course, you’ll find the recipe for Débiles Cake (chocolate cake):

I hope this information is helpful.

Hi Sahmini A/P Sandra Lingam
You can use the butter and yogurt cake recipe we suggested earlier and replace the yogurt with milk and the tonka bean with vanilla extract.
The modified recipe would be as follows:
Modified Recipe:
120 g milk (instead of yogurt)
125 g softened butter
16 g yeast or baking powder
265 g white and brown sugar (mixed)
225 g flour
220 g eggs (approximately 4)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (instead of tonka bean)
Follow the same instructions from the original recipe, and you’ll maintain the texture and flavor of the original recipe without the yogurt or tonka bean.
Let us know how it turns out! I hope this information is helpful.
Best regards.
