I’ve just checked what you mentioned, and at the moment, we don’t have the option to save your video quality or playback speed preferences across all videos. However, I will pass your feedback on to the relevant team so they can consider it for future updates.

It’s very annoying, this should be a very basic feature that every video player should have.

This app has been in beta for a very long time.
