The listed equipment for Bachour’s Petits Gâteaux I and II & Entremets and Tarts list non specific things like: Kitchen Robot, Turmix, semi spherical & spherical molds, pans, round molds, etc. where the equipment and size of the molds/pans aren’t specified. What exactly would I need? Or will it be more specific once I sign up? Also, for the Entremets and Tarts course, a Thermomix is listed under recommended equipment. I don’t own one and they’re very expensive, how necessary is it? what can i use as a substitute for one?

    Hi Aneara.

You’ll find information about cutter sizes, molds, and nozzle numbers in the recipe booklet, and if there’s anything missing, feel free to ask here, and we’ll help you figure it out.

The Thermomix simplifies the work since it grinds, blends, kneads, etc., all in one place, which is why some chefs use it to save time and steps. However, if you don’t have this tool, you can go the traditional route using a blender, food processor, etc. Here in this “questions and answers” space, we’ll help you adapt the recipe process to the tools you have at home.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Best regards.
