What you'll learn

Learn to build the base of your poke bowl, starting with making the perfect sushi rice. Learn to balance flavors and give different depths of texture to your bowl so that every mouthful is tasty.

Tuna Poke: Select and cut your tuna and prepare a Shoyu sauce marinade. Make a creamy kimchi mayo and a coconut avocado sauce. Roast sweet potatoes with coconut and make your own pickled cucumbers.

Salmon Ponzu Poke: Select and cut your salmon. Learn to balance the sweet, salty and citrus flavors of a Ponzu marinade. Make your own wasabi and cilantro mayonnaise for a refreshing and spicy touch. Learn to work with seaweed products, pickle your own wakame and toast your own crunchy furikake topping.

Miso Tofu Poke: Bring moreish umami flavor to your tofu by baking it with a sweet miso and sesame mix. Pickle your own daikon with a hint of turmeric for a vibrant yellow color. Top it with your homemade sweet sesame sauce.

Pulled Jackfruit Poke: Prepare quinoa as a protein and fiber packed alternative to sushi rice. Transform jackfruit into a delicious texture with a sweet and savory hoisin sauce caramelized in the oven. Crown your bowl with your own plant-based spicy mango sauce.
