What you'll learn

A good specialty coffee does not shine alone. Of course, the talent of the barista and the adequate use of the equipment have a lot to do with it.

Together with Raúl Pérez, you’ll see the most efficient way to handle rush hour in the café, ensuring orders are delivered quickly, baristas stay focused, and customers are satisfied.

This includes where to place the barista station and how to arrange complementary equipment.

The position in which the machine is placed plays an important role in not only cutting down movement and time, but also making less mess and avoiding cross-contamination.

You will learn how to adjust the grinders to obtain the correct granulometry to ensure a correct coffee extraction.

A professional barista station must be properly maintained. You will learn how to clean the rubber seals, showers, portafilters, baskets, steam wands and sprayers.
