Renato was born on January 13, 1995 in Lima, Peru. From a young age, his passion for music and food led him to study Gastronomy at Le Cordon Bleu. While studying, he created a small business called "Renatejas". In this project he found the spark that ignited his passion for chocolate.
Applying what he learned during his studies, he completed internships in restaurants in Peru and abroad, including renowned restaurants such as NOMA by René Redzepi. He traveled and worked in the cities of São Paulo, Barcelona, Miami and Copenhagen, specializing in chocolate making.
During the 2020 pandemic, Renato returned to Peru and founded "Renacer," reinventing chocotejas with cocoa from different origins. Currently, he leads a team dedicated to chocolate production and education, creating innovative chocolates and offering classes at his laboratory, Renacer Lab.
