Who is Jorge Lanuza?

For him, cooking is a way of telling stories and spreading happiness.

Jorge Lanuza is a professional chef with more than 20 years of experience in the gastronomic world, standing out for his comprehensive training in both cooking and pastry. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of training alongside some of the most renowned and respected chefs in Spain, acquiring a depth of knowledge and technique that sets him apart in his field.

Among his mentors are iconic names such as Karlos Arguiñano, known for his accessible and creative approach to cooking; Juan Mari Arzak, a pioneer of signature cuisine and nouvelle Basque cuisine; Christian Escribá, an international reference in the art of pastry; and Xabier Barriga, an expert in artisanal baking. Jorge has also worked in world-renowned culinary environments such as Celler de Can Roca, recognized for its innovative and sustainable approach, Dos Palillos, a fusion of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, and Diego Guerrero's Dstage, a cutting edge restaurant where creativity is at the heart of every dish. This last experience has been particularly enriching, as it was one of the places where he worked the longest and took on the most significant responsibilities.

In addition to his practical training with these great chefs, Jorge has complemented his education with studies in areas related to cooking, such as nutrition, dietetics and food chemistry. This has allowed him to have a holistic approach, combining his culinary skills with a scientific knowledge of food. From 2022 to 2014, he was responsible for the creative development and implementation of dishes at CanCook restaurant in Zaragoza, Spain.
