Just made this broccoli, cheddar, gnocchi soup to use up my broccoli and it was absolutely next level. I added a touch of nutmeg and Dijon mustard in at the end which really shown through.

I like how the broccoli is finely chopped,it blends into the cream without losing its presence. The touch of Dijon mustard is a smart move; it cuts through the richness and adds a bit of character. Now, between us, did you sear the gnocchi first, or did they go straight into the soup? Because a little extra texture there could be a game-changer.

@Sussan Estela Olaya I have a new chopper in the kitchen and it’s a game changer! I didn’t sear them. I wasn’t sure how much texture my family would like (I wasn’t sure if the gnocchi would be accepted in the first place🤣)

That chopper was a great pick! It saves time and keeps everything nice and even—such a game changer in the kitchen. And about the gnocchi, I get it,sometimes you have to play it safe to avoid a ‘table rebellion’ 🤣.
If you ever feel like browning them, try a little butter and garlic—it adds a nice touch without stealing the spotlight from the soup. Thanks for sharing your experience! ☺️
