When your colleague from Scoolinary Academy serves up a chicken so tempting that it turns on a spit in your dreams, you know there’s no escape—you have to roast one too. 🍗🍗🍗
@beatriztorijagmail-com made a masterpiece, and I spent the night thinking about chicken as if it were my destiny. ☺️💭This morning, I was the first at the market, got a fresh, local chicken, and, following Ignacio Barrios’ teachings, prepared it with love.
Was it good? Let’s just say it disappeared faster than I dreamed it. 😁

Can we officially call Bea the chickenfluencer from now on? 🐔🔥 That roast looks absolutely perfect—crispy, golden, and no doubt bursting with flavor. I love how food inspiration travels from one kitchen to another; it’s like a delicious domino effect! What was the game-changing tip from Ignacio Barrios that made the biggest difference in your roast?
Don’t forget to share it on social media as well, tagging us at @scoolinary_en and Chef Ignacio @ignaciobarriosj!

@Sol Damiani I totally agree that officially Bea should be called chickenfluencer 😁
Although roasting a chicken in the oven is something I think most people are familiar with, I was very interested in learning more from Ignacio. The game-changer was the variation in spices. Although, like Ignacio, I prefer the classic version with salt and olive oil. This time, like he did in the course, I added additional spices. ☺️

Wow, that chicken is not only perfectly golden, but it also comes with a generous side of fries! I love how you achieved that crispy skin—it’s clear you nailed the roasting technique Chef Ignacio Barrios taught. Now you’ve got me craving it… I guess I have no choice but to make it too. 🙃
By the way, did you use a special marinade, or did you go for the classic mix of spices and patience on the rotisserie?
It looks absolutely delicious, and the photos really capture that comforting homemade meal vibe. Thanks for sharing it with the community! ☺️

@Sussan Estela Olaya Unlike the previous time when I only used salt and olive oil, this time I added garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the chicken. For the marinade, I also used garlic, pepper, and lemon, along with the standard salt and olive oil. This combination really added extra aroma and flavor! 😊🍗

Lana!!!
