The Best Romanian Cabbage Rolls
This recipe for Romanian cabbage rolls is tried and true. The big difference between Romanian cabbage rolls and others are that we make them with sour cabbage. Flavorful tender sour cabbage leaves are stuffed with ground pork, carrots , onion , paprika, parsley, dill, rice, thyme, salt , pepper, tomato juice and a bit of smoked bacon in between to make this incredible traditional recipe. We serve it with sour cream and polenta or bread.

Your result looks absolutely delicious! The cabbage rolls have a perfect color, and the plating, accompanied by sour cream and polenta, is beautiful. I love how the details, like the fresh dill, enhance the photo. Thank you for sharing this traditional dish.

😋Now I’m drooling, Debora! Well, if we’re talking about a dish wrapped in leaves and filled with a savory mixture, the closest Argentine equivalent would probably be “niños envueltos”. It’s a traditional dish from the north of Argentina, where they use grape leaves to wrap a filling of rice, meat, and spices.
Thanks for sharing this recipe!-

@Sol Damiani I didn’t know anything about traditional Argentine food, I learned something new, but also similar to the traditions I come from. Thanks for the information 😍
