      Finally the rainy has stopped so it’s grilling time! Grilled steak, potatoes and fresh snap peas. This was my first time making a balsamic reduction to drizzle on the steak and I can’t believe the extra flavor it brought out.

          Fresh and healthy! How did you make the reduction, is it just balsamic vinegar boiled down, or did you add anything else to it?

            @Mandie Lowe This summer I have discovered the world of vinegar tastings! So this one is a bourbon infused aged balsamic that I just reduced straight. We were a little frightened but the hint of sweetness was so good!

              @Michelle Tarby No way, bourbon infused? That sounds so good! Alcohol is strictly controlled here (in Dubai), so I wouldn’t be able to get that here. You can’t even get rum and raisin flavoured ice cream here. Speaking of, you can always drizzle your reduction over strawberries and ice cream, have you had that combo before? Unusual, but really good!
