September 29th 📆International Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste
Today we commemorate International Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste, and we would like to learn about your contribution to minimizing this issue.
Have you ever wondered how you can positively impact your health, the environment, and your finances? The answer is simple: shop and cook mindfully. 🤔💚
In the “Zero Waste Cuisine” course, chef and activist, Ada Parellada guides us in transforming professional culinary management practices and effectively adapting them to a domestic environment. Through this online experience, you will discover how to maximize the use of your resources from the comfort of your home, all based on the Zero Waste methodology.
Did you know that we discard approximately one out of every three foods produced, and over 50% of this waste happens in our homes?
What steps do you take on a daily basis to minimize your waste?

I buy less than ever, use my freezer more than ever and meal plan, to avoid buying things I don’t need. I try to keep the fridge empty, rather than full. I can’t see what I have in a full fridge, then I forget about produce and it starts to go bad.

Very good insight, @mandie-lowe It is truly impossible to optimize time and energy if you can´t tell what you already have and therefore, what do you need to buy. Thanks for sharing.
