      Hünkar BeÄŸendi – The Sultan’s Delight!

      A very old Turkish/Ottoman dish which I cooked on the BBQ.

      Roasted Aubergine and cheese made for a vibrant and silky puree.

      Lamb cooked slowly in a sauce (garlic, onions, peppers, tomatoes, chilli, herbs). Used Tagine pot.

      I’m pretty sure the contrasts in this dish helped make it the ‘Sultans Delight’

      Tried a few serving options but I prefer the terracotta.
