Hey I’m trying to cook some risotto and the recipe is asking for measurements in gr like 500 gr of rice 100 gr of broth. I thought it meant grams, but I’m seeing in another part it’s asking for 60 g shallots 150 g chives. Also thought it was grains but 500 grains converts to 32 grams.

    Hi Jet T

Welcome to the Scoolinary community, and thank you for your question:

When you find the letter “g” or the syllable “gra” in a recipe, it always refers to grams.

I hope this information is helpful.

    Best regards.
