    Hi @jihene-essid

Could you tell me which recipe you are referring to? so I can review the recipe and see if it is possible to substitute these ingredients.

    Greetings.

        Hi @jihene-essid

Coconut oil is appreciated for its flavor and cooking properties, but there are several alternatives you can use depending on the specific culinary purpose. Here are some common replacements:

Olive oil: Ideal for sautéing, salad dressings, and dishes where a distinctive flavor is desired. Not suitable for baking due to its strong taste.

Avocado oil: Has a mild flavor and a high smoke point, making it excellent for frying and sautéing.

Butter or ghee: Perfect for baking and high-temperature cooking, providing a rich flavor.

Canola oil: A neutral oil that can be used for baking, frying, and sautéing. It has a high smoke point and a light taste.

Almond oil: Useful for baking as it has a mild flavor and a healthy profile.

Sunflower oil: Good for frying and sautéing due to its high smoke point and neutral flavor.

Sesame oil: Primarily used in Asian cuisine for its distinctive flavor, ideal for stir-fries and dressings.

Grapeseed oil: A light oil with a high smoke point, ideal for dressings and high-temperature cooking.

Walnut oil: Best for dressings and cold dishes due to its nutty flavor and low smoke point.

The choice of substitute will depend on the flavor you wish to impart and the cooking method you are using.

For your second question, I leave you an image of the replacements for natural emulsifiers and their uses.

        Greetings.

        Hi @jihene-essid

The fats must be replaced with another fat. If you want to replace coconut oil, the closest thing would be vegetable oil or ghee in a more solidified state.
