Posted by Kavitha Ramanathan on April 10, 2024 at 01:13Hello,
I see recipes for larger batch which is to make 15 jars of 337 gms. for starters to test it, I don’t see recipes for smaller batches. Please let me know. Thanks.

Correct, the quantities in these recipes are prepared to prepare several servings.
What you could do is reduce the recipes or quantity of ingredients by half or a quarter so that you get fewer units.
Greetings.

Hi!
To make recipes for jams and jellies or compotes for diabetics, you can use erythritol or allulose instead of sugar, only since you use half the amount you will have to add more of the thickening or coagulating agent such as pectin or xanthan gum. 😉

Thank you so much, @infochokolatpimienta-com 🙌
I hope Vanessa’s answer helped you, @kavitha-ramanathan

Hello,
for the replacement of sugar, do I use the same measurements for erythritol or allulose for making jams or jelly recipes?
Thanks,

Also can you help understanding the alcohol spray that is used in the video to kill bacteria and spray it on hand before canning? Its is not explained clearly in the video, Thank you.
-
The disinfectant you could use is 96% ethyl alcohol, it is a bactericide; Formulated to disinfect inert surfaces and any area exposed to contaminating agents, eliminating them in a single pass.
We hope this information is useful.
Greetings.
